DiversityMediation as a profession
(6 modules with a total of 96 hours of attendance, 15 hours of intervision and 25 hours of self-study).
Goal: Certified mediator
In the second part
– Attitude and methods deepened,
– the setting up of mediation processes,
– Peculiarities of individual areas of application of mediation considered
– supervised two (co-)mediated cases each.
– Documented and presented 2 (co)mediated cases each.
Each module focuses on one of the mediation fields: business, large groups, company, administration and school, family, neighborhood. Questions of social significance, framework, setting, issues, QM, diversity maturity, law, and power and violence are accentuated accordingly.
The training is completed with the written documentation and reflection of two (co-)mediated cases and their presentation in the course context.
Prerequisite is the completion of the basic training.
The seminars of education and training start with the review of own practical experience and reading. The new teaching content will be conveyed in impulse lectures, then tested in exercises and role plays and applied to (co-)mediations.
As we attach importance to accompanying self-study to deepen your knowledge, you will receive targeted assignments in theory and practice (specialist reading, working groups and (co-)mediation) between the modules.
Appointments for the intervision groups between the modules are arranged by the participants themselves.
Self-reflection is an indispensable basis for diversity-sensitive and appreciative conflict management. Therefore, we also attach importance to supervisions, which can be completed, for example, with Jule Endruweit or Susanne Gillmann.
