Transactional Analysis, short and to the point – your entry into TA
Would you like to get to know Transactional Analysis and find out whether it suits you? Then the 101 course is exactly the right place to start.
You will get a solid overview of TA by learning its basic models and questions and relating them to your situation. You will learn how it originated, how it spread and developed further, and what you can use it for. You will have the opportunity to try out these insights right away in exercises on your own or with others, and to develop easy-to-understand, constructive ways of dealing with yourself and with other people.
TA invites you to take a new focus on yourself and on what happens between you and others. Look forward to experiencing the special attitude of certified TA trainers and feeling the change this attitude creates. Perhaps you will notice even after this course: I have more room for manoeuvre than I thought, and in many situations I can decide more consciously how I respond.
Are you still unsure whether the method is right for you? Then simply give it a try and learn something about yourself in the process.
Good to know: The 101 course is a prerequisite for further training in Transactional Analysis. The course content corresponds to the requirements of the associations EATA/DGTA/ITAA.
On-site schedule
In 4 units over two days of 8 hours each (with breaks).
Day 1: Communication models and Eric Berne
The foundation and the groundbreaking aspect of TA are its communication models. You reflect on and try out the concepts of ego state models and transactions using your own examples, after they have been introduced and explained clearly.
You trace the history, spread, and development of TA so that you get an idea of the background from which TA emerged and how it is practised today.
Day 2: Life script and change
The script and concepts that deal with patterns that influence our lives are the focus of this unit. Here you experiment with new perspectives on your everyday life.
Concepts for appreciation and feelings that are suitable for changing your own experience and gaining an understanding of your own actions round off the seminar.
