What do you get out of a coach or consultant training at intaqt?
We offer DGTA certified degrees: Coach DGTA and Consultant DGTA.
We do what we talk about and what we teach. And use our practical professional experience as the basis for our continuing education programs. So you as a participant our training courses can be sure to benefit from our experience. Your speakers: Jule Endruweit (TSTA-O) and Thomas Wehrs (PTSTA-O).
You will professionalize your role and learn to lead coaching and consulting processes in organizations and in private settings. To this end, you will develop the appropriate analytical, methodological and self-control skills.

→ They distinguish professional and organizational values and cultures. → They reflect function, role and status within an organization.
→ You know theories of leadership and management.
→ They develop an awareness of diversity and can adequately address power and hierarchy.
→ You develop ambiguity tolerance in dealing with ambiguities.
→ You expand your wealth of experience with methods and models from classical, systemic and relational transactional analysis.
How does the training work?
The prerequisite for entry is the 101 Introduction to Transactional Analysis course.
Each module has an overall theme (see below for an overview). To do this, we teach selected concepts that you try out and apply to your own work. We constantly develop the topics of the modules and adapt them to the group in a situational and process-oriented way. The training is designed as a spiral curriculum and is scheduled for three years. That is, all topics repeat after three years. It is possible to join if there is a place available.
Another important component is working on one’s own concerns from practice in supervision (with the instructor), intervision (with peers) or casework (consulting setting with the group). In intervision sessions you can gain experience in consulting and coaching and develop as an intervisor their transactional analytic coaching and consulting style.
Overview of the topics of the modules
Each training year comprises five module topics on one area. Thus, the themes are repeated every three years. For the Coach degree, there are two additional modules on systems theory and coaching.
Training year: focus on people
1. own attitude – basic thoughts about coaching, leadership and consulting. What does ok/ok mean? And how do I get there?
2. ensure own consulting and coaching quality – negotiation of contracts as a design tool and own quality assurance
3. self-control and control of communication in coaching and consulting – experimenting with ego states.
4. using self-motivation and motivation of others in the coaching and consulting process – strokes as a steering tool in processes.
5. importance of roles in coaching and consulting – analysis of conflict potential and clarity in action.
Training year: focus on teams and groups
- Recognizing and managing dysfunctional patterns as a coach and counselor – Games, Drama and Winners Triangle.
- Recognizing internal and external signs of dysfunctionality as a coach or counselor – devaluation, symbiosis, and passivity.
- Working with feelings in the coaching and counseling process – Rackets, Script System, Emotions and Sensations.
- Script – Use autonomy concepts, script matrix, drivers, and inculcations in the coaching or counseling process.
- As a coach and consultant:in releasing personal resources – stroke economics, stroke filters, opacity.
Training year: focus on development
- How do you manage processes as a coach or consultant:in order to initiate change? Analysis, hypotheses, contract.
- Planning of consulting and coaching processes. My Consultant or Coaching Profile.
- Promoting autonomy – Ethical considerations for dealing with dilemma situations in coaching and consulting processes.
- Theories of leadership and management – impact in counseling and coaching.
- Evaluation of change processes in coaching and consulting – Tools.
Your investment for the Certified Consultant DGTA degree
The requirements for a certified Consultant DGTA or Coach DGTA degree are set forth in the National Addendum to the EATA Handbook. Roughly, there are the following requirements:
5 weekends a year (5 x 2 days) for 3 years. (A total of 230 hours of theory and methods continuing education). They each commit for one year. The annual seminar fee is:
for companies: € 4.000,00 plus VAT
for self-employed persons: € 3.000,00 plus. VAT
for private persons: € 3.000,00 incl. VAT
A written paper of max. 20 Din A 4 pages.
50 hrs. self-awareness (not included in the spiral curriculum). We are happy to recommend colleagues from the field of counseling or psychotherapy.
Your investment for the certified Coach DGTA degree
Same requirements as consultant degree and 2 modules of systems theory and coaching. Your speaker: Katharina Stahlenbrecher.

Here you will get an overview of basic concepts of TA and experience the impact of TA directly. Online or on site.
Coach DGTA and consultant DGTA training
The training consists of a three-year spiral curriculum. It can be completed with the Coach DGTA or Consultant DGTA title – but it does not have to be.
Masterclass
Advanced training is based on the needs of the group. It can be completed with an EATA examination to become a transaction analyst.
