Transactional analysis in a nutshell
Interactively and with exercises in small groups you can gain first experiences with the application of Transactional Analysis and experience the special attitude of TA. Transactional analysis offers easy-to-understand and constructive ways of dealing with oneself and with others. You will get a good overview of basic models and issues in transactional analysis. The history of origin, distribution and development are also highlighted.

The 101 course is a prerequisite for advanced training in transactional analysis. The contents of the course comply with the specifications of the EATA/DGTA associations.

Day 1: Eric Berne and communication
You will retrace the origins, dissemination and development of TA, so that you get an idea of the background on which TA was created and how it is lived today.
The foundation and groundbreaking of TA are its communication models. They reflect on and try out the concepts of ego-state models and transactions on their own examples after they have been introduced and vividly explained.
Day 2: Life script and change
The script and concepts that deal with patterns that influence our lives are the subject of this unit. Here you experiment with new ways of looking at your own everyday life.
Concepts for appreciation and feelings, which are suitable to change one's own experience and to get an understanding for one's own actions round off the seminar.
Procedure of the online course
In 3 units of 4 hours each (with breaks), the focus is on
1. Unit: Communication
Here, the concepts of ego-state models and transactions are illustrated, reflected on and tried out using our own examples.
2nd unit: Life script
This unit focuses on concepts that deal with patterns that influence our lives.
3rd unit: Eric Berne and change
The history, dissemination and development of TA, concepts of appreciation and feelings round off the seminar.
